About Mike
Mike Haugh is an independent consultant with over 25 years of experience in the energy industry.
Most recently, Mike worked for the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel representing residential utility customers before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the state legislature. In this capacity, he filed over 30 pieces of expert testimony before those bodies. He also functioned as spokesperson for the agency in television and radio news programs as well as in national conferences representing residential energy consumers in the state of Ohio. His focus is on competitive electric markets and bringing benefits to end use customers.
Earlier in his career, he worked in regulatory and government affairs for retail energy suppliers and as a wholesale energy trader.
Mike holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Ohio State University.
