About Jonathan
Jonathan Haggerty was a resident fellow with the Criminal Justice and Civil Liberties policy team. His research focuses on overcriminalization, policing and the intersection of criminal justice and immigration. Jonathan conducts policy research, writes commentary pieces and appears on television and radio. His work has been featured in The Washington Post, U.S. News and World Report, Newsweek and many other outlets.
Jonathan received his bachelor’s in government at the College of William and Mary, where he is an alumnus of the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society. He lives in Fairfax, Virginia with his wife, Sarah, and cat, Tillie.
