Save the Date: R Street’s 2025 Real Solutions Summit

About the 2025 Real Solutions Summit

We’re excited to announce that the R Street Institute will host its second Real Solutions Summit in Washington, D.C. on May 6, 2025 at the Planet Word Museum.

The 2025 Real Solutions Summit: Back to the Future aims to bring together leaders in politics, public policy, media, philanthropy, and the private sector who believe our best days are still ahead if we can unleash American innovation, bolster competition, and safeguard individual liberty.

Building on the success of the inaugural Real Solutions Summit in 2023, we are further embracing our pragmatic, solutions-driven culture to look forward to America’s 250th birthday and ask ourselves to imagine what the country would look like. The wide-ranging day will feature keynote speakers, panels, breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and much, much more.

We’ll discuss how America will continue embracing free markets to solve climate change; what role artificial intelligence will play in our daily lives; how we systemically address violent crime, rebuild our cities, and imagine a new workplace, to name just a few topics as we continue building our agenda.

Our Vision

The R Street Institute stands for free markets, limited, effective government and pragmatic solutions to difficult problems. We envision:

  • A free society, where public policy begins with freedom as its initial premise and governments exist primarily as guardians of inherent, inalienable rights.
  • An inclusive society that provides a place, a voice, and equal opportunity for all.
  • A just society that holds everyone accountable to the same laws.

Our Issues

We focus on complex policy issues that other groups tend to neglect. Our work takes the form of deep research, commentary, events and coalition efforts at the national and state levels.
